Yesterday I had my first session since moving to Rockland.  

Things are finally settling down.  We're all unpacked and enjoying our new home in Rockland, Maine. The internet is finally hooked up, and the kids are adjusting nicely.  Sam is having a little more difficulty accepting our move, as he says on a daily basis, "I want to toe (go) home," which breaks my heart, but I understand it's a lot for him since he's only three.  A trip to McDonald's (which is a five-minute walk from my house) for some ice cream usually helps :)

I absolutely love living so close to the ocean.  And I really love the fact that I can walk practically anywhere I need to go, and if I can't walk, it's only a five-minute drive.  But the best thing of all is that I no longer get mobbed by mosquitos and black flies the moment I step outside of the house.

See what I found on my front door this morning?  I've never seen one before!!!

I was playing around with my daughter's hair and makeup, making sure I'd be able to help her get ready on the night of semi-formal instead of having to take a 45-minute trip into town to get her hair done....she's so beautiful :)
